Sand Brown

Very fine beach sand, which not only enhances the aesthetics of the tank, but also provides comfortable conditions for its inhabitants.

Its smooth structure makes it particularly recommended for aquariums inhabited by bottom-dwelling fish such as corydoras, loaches, and catfish.

Its delicate grains do not irritate the barbels of these fish, allowing them to behave naturally, such as digging through the bottom in search of food.

Thanks to its durability and resistance to discoloration, this sand is ideal for various types of natural arrangements. When filled with water, it retains its clean, clear color, which adds elegance and freshness to the tank.

It creates a nice contrast when combined with dark rocks such as Lawa Black or Namastu Stone, available in our store.

Ideal as a substrate for typical bottom-dwelling fish, e.g. corydoras, and decorative tanks.

Before adding sand to the aquarium, it is recommended to rinse it thoroughly under running water. This will remove small particles that could cause the water to become cloudy.
