Product description
Japanese natural mineral substrate based on natural soil. Rich in fulvic acids, humic acids, and minerals that have a beneficial effect on the growth of plants and ornamental shrimp of the Caridina genus. This substrate is designed for shrimp aquariums, ensuring stable water conditions conducive to their breeding.
It is recommended to flood the Power House BOTTOM F substrate with reverse osmosis (RO) water and mineralize it with a preparation intended for Caridina shrimp., e.g. GH+ LC Shrimp. The optimal GH values for these shrimp are 5–6, with a GH of 6 recommended for Tiger varieties and for Taiwan shrimp. 4–5.
The substrate should not be rinsed before use; it is ready for use. Pour the appropriate amount onto the bottom of the aquarium, then gently moisten it before planting the plants and arranging the layout. The tank should be filled very slowly to avoid washing out nutrients. After flooding, the water may become cloudy, but with efficient filtration, the cloudiness should clear up within a few hours.
Once the package has been opened, it is recommended to use the entire contents, as the substrate has natural moisture. Drying out of the granules may cause them to disintegrate upon re-contact with water. The visible micro-holes in the packaging are not a defect – each substrate bag is equipped with a micro-ventilation system that prevents excess moisture from accumulating during temperature changes. Do not store above 25°C.

Before use – important!
Do not use Power House BOTTOM F substrate in combination with other active substrates. Do not use in aquariums with undergravel filters, as this may lead to uncontrolled leaching of minerals.
This product is intended exclusively for freshwater aquariums with ornamental fish and plants not intended for consumption. Do not use filter cartridges or chemicals that lower pH and KH, as this may cause a sudden drop in these parameters. Keep out of reach of children.
