Product description
High-quality Japanese active substrate that naturally regulates water parameters by lowering pH, GH, and KH. It is rich in nutrients such as fulvic and humic acids, as well as micro- and macroelements, creating an ideal environment for aquarium plants and supporting their healthy growth and proper nutrition.
It is ideal for plant aquariums and tanks used for breeding ornamental bee shrimp and tropical fish. Its porous structure prevents the formation of anaerobic zones and promotes rapid colonization by beneficial nitrifying bacteria, which effectively break down ammonia (NH4+) and nitrites (NO2). This significantly improves water quality and extends the time between water changes.
Master Soil quickly clarifies water and removes discoloration caused by placing roots and wood in the aquarium. Its unique formula stabilizes water parameters and provides optimal conditions for the growth of plants and microorganisms. Thanks to its durability, it remains effective for a long time, making it an exceptionally efficient solution for aquarists.
To further extend its service life, it is recommended to fill it with reverse osmosis (RO) water and mineralize it appropriately with a selected preparation, e.g., GH+ One Plant.
Master Soil should be used as the only active substrate in the aquarium, without the addition of other substrates. However, it can be combined with neutral substrates, such as sand, which does not affect water parameters.
It does not require the use of bedding, and its properties may change as a result of the use of filter cartridges or chemicals that lower pH and KH, which may lead to an uncontrolled decrease in these parameters.
