Water testing
Test the water in your aquarium
You don’t have to guess what’s going on in your aquarium—you can check it out! The water may look clear, but its chemical composition determines the health of your fish, the condition of your plants, and the biological stability of your tank.
Why is it worth testing the water in an aquarium?
Water may look clean, but the chemical compounds it contains determine the health of fish, the condition of plants, and the stability of the entire ecosystem. Regular testing is the most effective way to:
Prevent diseases in fish and algae
Maintain biological balance
Precisely select fertilization and replacements
Detect problems early and avoid disaster
Step by step
How to prepare a water sample?
You don’t have to be an expert to take care of your aquarium. All you need to do is provide us with a water sample, and we will check its composition and advise you on what is happening in your tank. Thanks to the test, you can easily detect the causes of problems with plants, fish, or algae and learn about the actual condition of your aquarium.
You decide which parameters you want to test – you can choose individual indicators or ready-made sets tailored to different needs. You can send the water sample, deliver it in person, or have us collect it – just fill out the form and provide your contact details, and a service technician will collect it on site.
You will receive the results in the form of a PDF file with comments and explanations. We can send them to your email address, save them to your account on the natuscape website, or prepare them for pickup at a brick-and-mortar store.
Note: If you are unable to perform the entire operation yourself, leave it to us. To do so, fill in the additional fields in the form with your address and contact details, such as your phone number and email address, where the service technician should come. We will test the water on site and send the results to your email address or they will be available for collection in the store within 24-72 hours of the service being performed.
You can also select the parameters you are interested in yourself or use ready-made test kits prepared for various aquarium needs. This gives you full control over the scope of the analysis – from individual indicators to a comprehensive overview of water quality. Regardless of whether you deliver the sample in person, send it to us, or use the services of a technician, you will always receive a clear report in PDF format with a description and explanation of what each parameter means. We can send the results to your email address or prepare them for pickup at the store – so that you have quick and convenient access to reliable information about the condition of your aquarium.
Prepare a container
- Use a clean, leak-proof container (100–200 ml).
- Before filling, rinse it several times with the water being tested.
Download sample
- The water should be taken from the middle of the aquarium.
- Fill the container until it is full to the top – without leaving air. Thanks to this process of degassing the sample is slower and stability of parameters higher.
Secure and deliver the sample
- If you are delivering it immediately, bring it to the store. (You have 24 hours to do so.)
- If you cannot bring the sample immediately, keep it in the refrigerator, in the dark. Do not freeze it.
Fill out the form
- Select the parameters or parameter package to be examined from the list below
- Choose how you want to receive your results from three available options: pick up in person, examination at the customer’s premises, or delivery to your email address.
