Product description
A compact, hardy ground cover plant with intensely green leaves. The leaves are sessile, slightly oval, arranged in a cross pattern, with smooth edges, lush green, and slightly lighter underneath.
The root system is strong – white, long roots reach deeper layers of the substrate.
Intended use:
The plant is perfect for nano aquariums as a complement to rock decorations or as a finishing touch to the arrangement.
It contrasts beautifully with taller plants in the further parts of the tank. It can be used to create impressive “alleys” or dense clumps that give the aquarium a natural look.

Growing conditions
To ensure optimal plant growth, adequate lighting and fertilization of both the water column and the substrate are necessary.
❗ The nature of light has a key influence on the appearance of plants! ❗
- In intense light and nutrient-rich soil, the plant grows horizontally, producing new shoots from each node, which leads to the creation of a dense, low carpet.
- In low light and with a lack of nutrients, it grows vertically, forming longer stems, and leaves appear only in the upper part of the plant.
Lighting Requirements
Poor/average
0.7 W/L (T8/T5 fluorescent lamps)
