Aquael Family 80 Black D&N Cover

The cover is made of high-quality plastic, manufactured using modern injection molding technology. It features a patented SMART OPEN opening system that eliminates the need for hinges and supports. This allows it to be conveniently positioned vertically, which greatly facilitates all maintenance work in the aquarium.

The rear part of the cover has special grooves that allow for easy cutting of holes for the installation of canister or overflow filters. Importantly, making such cuts does not void the manufacturer’s warranty.

The cover also has ventilation holes that ensure a constant supply of fresh air, which helps maintain proper circulation between the aquarium and the room.

A large, convenient feeding flap allows you to feed your fish freely without having to lift the entire lid.

The lid performs several important protective functions – it prevents fish from jumping out, reduces water evaporation and heat loss. It also protects the tank from environmental contaminants such as dust and dirt. It is also an effective barrier against pets, such as cats, which might try to catch fish.

In the Family 80 cover model, the manufacturer has provided for the possibility of expanding the lighting system – there are 4 plastic holders in the cover, allowing for the installation of additional fluorescent lamps, which makes it possible to adjust the light intensity to the individual needs of the aquarium.

Installing other types of lighting, such as branded lamps or DIY beams, without the appropriate IP water protection rating may cause permanent damage to the equipment. Lids are not suitable for this purpose!
